The following are our responses to commonly asked questions:

How long have you been in business?

Warne Brothers Productions has built websites and been in the graphic design business since the year 2000.  We began producing Wedding and special event videos commercially in 2005.  Prior to that, we were producing videos by special request since 2003 (i.e. family, friends, and referrals).  Many of us have a technical background in Computers, Computer Graphics, and videography.

How do you best describe your company and editing style?

Our Company:

We are hip, fun, energetic, and truly passionate about making videos.  Because we’re a small studio, you can take solace in knowing that we film and edit our own work.  All editing is done in our studio where each and every video is uniquely woven together and given our personal touch.  Warne Brothers Productions does not contract or solicit the services of a third party, which means we personally see you’re video all the way through, from beginning to end.  Here at Warne Brothers Productions, we will always maintain our personal commitment to quality and creativity.

Our Style:

Our style can be considered more Photojournalistic, as we believe in recording all of the event’s precious moments and details of the day both, candidly and naturally.  This includes capturing the love, tears and laughter of your special day and telling your story the way that YOU expect to see it!  Here at Warne Brothers Productions, we continually challenge ourselves to commit to a higher standard of excellence, striving to provide you with a “timeless” and “classy” masterpiece.

For whatever reason, some of the raw footage we capture never makes it to final edit.  Therefore, we can tell you that we are one of the few companies in the business that take advantage of this extra footage by providing you with “Outtakes.”

How well do you work with the other vendors, the photographer, and those attending?

We always work well with all vendors and are absolutely sure to respect their space and the job that they are there to do.  We always coordinate are coverage by staying in communication with the event coordinator, photographer, and DJ.  We do are absolute best to ensure the comfort of your guests by respecting their space and privacy.  We try to remain behind the scenes as much as possible and use low lighting equipment whenever possible.  The comfort of you and your guest is very important to us.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use the latest in broadcast digital 3CCD DV camcorders, audio wireless microphones and lighting equipment. We edit in all digital format using the latest software and equipment available.  For your convenience, final videos are always provided in an “up-to-date” DVD format.

How do your videographers dress for the event?

Our videographers always dress appropriately for each and every event.  If they didn’t have a video camera in their hands, you wouldn’t be able to tell them from any other guest at your event.  At minimum, our cameramen come dressed in slacks, a collared dress shirt, and appropriate shoes.  Many times the attire is determined by the location of the event, weather, and operating conditions.  Please contact us if you have further questions regarding this.

What parts of the valley do you cover?

We provide service to the following cities: Anthem, Avondale, Carefree, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Glendale, Goodyear, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Peoria, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Sun City, Surprise, and Tempe.  Outside locations available by request (i.e. Tucson, Sedona, Las Vegas, ect.).

Are you members of any Videographer Associations?

Yes.  Currently we have membership with WEN (Wedding and Event Network) and WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association).

Are you insured?

Yes

What type of editing do you do?

All of our editing is done in house on computers using a non-linear editing format.  All video is recorded in DV (digital video) format and edited with the most up-to-date video editing software.

Do you offer discount rates?

On occasion we run promotions that can save you some money.  However, it’s important to note that our rates are very competitive and some of the best you will find in the industry.  Feel free to compare.  Important Side Note:  Many times a video is thought of as an after thought or something to pursue if you have a little money left over in your budget.  We encourage you not to view it this way, because a Wedding video can be just as important as any other service you use on your Wedding Day.  Other then having photographs, many of these other services last only hours, a Wedding video last a lifetime.  It’s the only way to truly re-live your special day.

Do you customize a package?

Early on, we did this quite often.  Unfortunately, it has been something we steer away from in recent years, for good reason of course.  As our business grew, it became increasingly difficult to accommodate a bride and groom who only needed our services for a couple of hours when other clients were requesting one of our packages that span 6 to 8 hours on the same day.  There are certainly days and times that we may make exceptions, so it’s best to contact us for more information.

Break down of a customized package:

We have a standard hourly rate that is used to calculate a proposal.  This rate covers the filming, capturing, storage, and editing.  * This is not the same as the “additional hour” rate that applies to those who select either our 6-hour or 8-hour packages.

Do I have any production or editorial control?

This question typically coincides with customizing a video package.  As stated in our agreements, Warne Brothers Productions is granted full production and editorial control by the Client regarding all aspects of the production post-production services for the event.  You can however, have input into the events that you desire us to cover by including it in our Event Planner or in a provided itinerary of the days events.  While every attempt will be made to cover the outlined events, years of experience have taught us that this is not always guarantee.  Though extremely rare, there have been unforeseen and uncontrollable situations such as people standing or walking in front of our cameras, bad lighting situations, miscommunication with the event schedule, or other miscellaneous interruptions that occur.  Please take solace in knowing that we do everything we can to counter these situations and remain proactive.  This includes using two “low lighting” cameras to cover each and every event, carefully following a provided itinerary, staying in contact with the event coordinator or master of ceremony, positioning cameras in the most unobtrusive location we can find, and using lighting equipment (when permitted by the client). We are absolutely confident that we can get gain coverage of all events you desire, however, we cannot go as far as to guarantee that each and every shot will go off without a hitch.

As far as post-production goes, we encourage you to review our available Demo’s for a clear understanding of our filming and editing styles.  You can take solace in knowing that your video will be filmed and edited in a very similar format.  It is very uncommon for us to stray from this format, unless we are producing the video in real-time (events in their entirety, no flash, ect.).

How long does it take to complete a video?

Typically, we ask that you allow us at least 3-months.  A video can take less time or slightly more, depending on whether it’s the “high season” and a lot of videos are in production.  Assuming we have all needed materials, videos are commonly completed within 3 to 4 months.

How long do you keep raw footage of the event?

Typically, we keep all raw footage for up to two years.  With the advances in technology we are close to being able to compress large amounts of video onto a single compact disk, thus allowing us to store the raw footage for an indefinite amount of time.

Take solace in knowing that we do our absolute best to provide you with all the best footage we shoot.  This is one of the major reasons for including outtakes on all of our videos.

Do you produce corporate videos?

Yes.  We primarily produce short videos for use at events or for training purposes.  We can also be contracted to film and edit a corporate event (i.e. company party, company meeting, seminar, speech, ground breaking or grand opening ceremony, ect.).  You may also contract us to film and provide you with raw video footage as well.  Contact us for more information.
